Development trends of the retired person’s employment in the Russian economy

The article reviews the dynamics of the employment development of retired persons in Russia for 2004-2014. Based on a correlation regression analysis of employment dynamics and a comparative analysis of labor remuneration, it is concluded that the employment trends of the retired persons are affected by demographic factors rather than economic ones. This is an important distinctive feature of the relevant segment of the labor market which should be taken into account when establishing an effective employment.
