Chuvash Republic socio-economic trends in the conditions of digital industry transformation

The relevance of the research is due to the fact that there is a lack of scientific knowledge in identifying and systematizing trends in the social and economic development of the region in modern conditions of industrial digitalization. Currently, digital and network transformations of industry and science are taking place, in particular, the introduction of breakthrough technologies and the reproduction of highly qualified human capital, so the issue of managing these structural changes remains important. At the same time, an equally important issue is the development of scientific and practical recommendations for the formation and maintenance of the integrity of the existing industrial complex, which is developing in an era of rapid innovations that are intensively changing the face of industry in particular and the region as a whole. The purpose of the research is to identify trends in regional socio-economic development. The leading approach to the research is an integrated one, and the method is statistical and economic, which makes it possible to give a comprehensive description of the development of industry in modern conditions. As a result of the analysis, the characteristic of structural changes in the industry of the region is given and substantiated: at present, under the influence of internal and external factors, a structural transformation of Chuvash Republic industry is taking place, changing the appearance and production paradigm in the context of digitalization processes.
