The trend of development of the agro-industrial complex of the Volgograd region in the context of external economic sanctions

The relevance of the topic is determined by the current external situation and the importance of the agro-industrial complex for the Volgograd region. The article highlights the following problems: obtaining imported raw materials, equipment and spare parts, deterioration of the export situation, increase in prices for machinery and food. After analyzing, we came to the conclusion that the problems that have arisen must be solved through: intensification of production and growth of the autonomy of the sector, assistance from the state (subsidies, leasing, grants), reduction of unused farmland, search for alternative buyers and ways to import raw materials, price freezing. Thus, despite the new sanctions, which led to drastic political and economic changes, the agro-industrial complex of the Volgograd region is functioning stably and is gradually developing.
