Theoretical model of sustainable development of municipal entities

The article deals with topical issues associated with the theoretical model of sustainable development of municipal entities. The authors emphasize the systematic nature of the "sustainable development" concept in relation to the activities of government and management bodies, as well as compulsory consideration of human resources-related, socio-economic and environmental aspects. It is concluded that the current economic trends make municipal entities of the Russian Federation to focus on the innovative development. Special role in this process is played by professionally trained employees.
