The article discusses the basic concepts of investment life insurance. Cumulative and investment life insurance is compared. The advantages and disadvantages of this type of insurance are revealed. A survey is conducted and the current state of life insurance in Russia is analyzed. It is established that COLI is a new developing insurance product that has great potential in the Russian insurance market.
