Theoretical aspects of investment risk

The article deals with the theoretical aspects of investment activity, as well as special attention was paid to risk factors, without which it is impossible to imagine the investment process. The classification of investment risks according to various criteria was given. The article contains a step-by-step risk management algorithm and a descriptive characteristic of a competent risk Manager. We also considered and characterized various types of market and non-market risks, gave examples and identified the problem of sufficient knowledge of such a phenomenon as investment risk.
