One of the urgent problems of the modern economy is the problem of improving the existing systems of social protection and the search for new forms and approaches to solving social issues. This article explores aspects related to the theory and practice of unconditional basic income. The experiment of Finland and some other countries to introduce elements of this concept into the system of social protection has been analyzed.
