Theoretical and practical aspects of development of the labor potential of regional economy

The article analyzes approaches for the formation and use of the labor potential of the regional economy. Attention is paid not only for theoretical, but also for practical aspects of the development of the regional labor force. Author considers various approaches to the concept of labor potential as an element of the socio-economic system that determines directions and trends of the development of society. The article discusses negative trends in the field of reproduction of labor resources, which have a destructive impact on the processes of economic and social development of the territories. Attention is paid to the peculiarities of the conditions for the formation and use of labor potential in the economy of the regions, which contributes to a more complete understanding of the role of human factor as a fundamental component of the resource base of the economic development of the territory. The significance of the level of provision of the regional economy with high-quality labor resources with a high level of education and qualifications for the formation of the potential of high-tech and innovative development of the production sector is investigated. Attention is paid to the perspective directions of the evolution of social and economic relations in the sphere of formation and realization of labor potential at the regional level. The study of promising trends in the system of reproduction of the labor potential of the regional economy has been carried out.
