Theoretical and legal foundations of crowdfunding in Russia

The article analyzes the model of crowdfunding as one of the methods of providing finances for an innovative project. The essence and types of crowdfunding, its peculiarities and problems in raising funds and attracting them to the project are considered. The general characteristic of the crowdfunding market in Russia is given and crowdfunding as an alternative instrument of project financing is considered. The legal regulation of crowdfunding platforms and their compliance with the norms of the current Russian legislation, as well as the development of this sphere are considered.
