Theoretical studies of the institute of the collective agreement in the pre-Soviet period

Purpose: To review the collective agreement to its legal and socio-economic importance. Methodology: This article used normative legal documents of the beginning of the twentieth century. Results: In the modern period of development of our state of the increasing importance of social partnerships. The beginning of cooperation between employers and employees was launched at the dawn of the twentieth century, a period of economic crisis. The first collective agreements were a compromise against the background of strikes and strikes held by workers. The resulting collectively-contractual relations required a theoretical understanding and laid the Foundation for the establishment of an Institute of labor law - the Institute of social partnership. Novelty/originality/value: The article analyzes the issues relating to the formation of the basic ideas about the nature of the collective agreement, the parties, legal and socio-economic importance.
