Theoretical basis of modern forest management and forest law

The role and importance of forest legislation in increasing the efficiency and profitability of logging are analyzed. An analysis of the modern forest management system at the forestry level is given. The conclusion is made that the problems of organizing the use of forests and forest management are inextricably linked with the lack of updated information on the quantitative and qualitative indicators of the forest fund lands in the forestries. There are proposed amendments to the Forest Code of the Russian Federation for the revival of the classical forest management system.
