Theoretical foundations of production diversification management at enterprises of the military-industrial complex

The implementation of the diversification of production at the enterprises of the military-industrial complex requires a preliminary solution of a number of methodological and methodological problems, since there is still no unified theory of managing this process. The existing theoretical basis for solving the problem under consideration consists of separate concepts of innovative development, institutional changes, competition, investment strategies. However, most of the works on this topic did not fully reflect the issues related to the implementation of an integrated approach to the analysis of the theoretical foundations of managing the diversification of production. During the research, the results of which are presented in this article, an attempt was made to solve this problem. It is established that the diversification of production is a process of institutional changes that corresponds to the basic principle of transformation of any economic system - the principle of development. The article presents the results of systematization of the main causes and objectives of this process, describes the mechanism for managing the diversification activities of defense industry enterprises, analyzes its main activities and management procedures.
