Theoretical approaches to studying interaction between political parties and municipal authority

Classification of the main approaches to studying interaction between political parties and local self-government has been substantiated. The prevailing theoretical approaches created in foreign science are characterized. Formation of approaches to this issue in domestic political science occurs at the end of the 20 th century under the influence of the western theories and domestic traditions of consideration of local self-government institutes. The widespread tendency to "depoliticization" of local self-government in our country is not a characteristic of the western political science.
