Theoretical approaches to the complex analysis of the regional economic security in the Russian Federation by case study of the Kemerovo region

The article describes theoretical approaches to the study of the economic security. Various research methods are reviewed. The authors discuss the factors that affect the national security of the state, their correlation with the economy. The paper analyses the economic security factors by case study of the statistical indicators of the Kemerovo region according to the criteria proposed by the authors. The level of the economic security of the region is evaluated. Conclusions and guidelines concern the priority areas of development and improvement of the economic security of the region.
