Theoretical approaches to determining the sources of banking crises

Banking crises are one of the most serious challenges for the financial system and the economy in general. Understanding the sources of these crises is key to their early detection and prevention. This article discusses various theoretical approaches to the definition of banking crises and their sources. An analysis of these approaches will allow us to understand the nature of banking crises and to develop effective preventive measures. The results of this study are the differentiation of various forms of banking crisis sources such as causes, factors and signs, as well as the summary of existing views on the banking crisis as a consequence of external and internal processes in the financial system, the state and society.
