Theoretical approaches to defining the content of the concept of "international transport corridor"

An analysis of the concept of “International transport corridor” is presented in the article. Determining the functional and constructive content of the conceptual and terminological apparatus is the purpose of the research. Scientific theoretical approaches of different authors to the research of the economic nature and content of this term are analyzed by the authors. The works of scientists and other literary and legal sources have been studied. It has been established that in economics there is no single approach to the definition of the term. The multidimensionality of this concept is confirmed. The generalization of approaches to the definition of the term made it possible to identify the points, the study of which is necessary for the further strategic development of the national transport infrastructure. The need for an integrated approach to the research of international transport corridors is important both from an economic point of view and from a broader perspective. The requirements for accounting for components include industrial, technological, food and demographic.
