In the work the authors present theoretical research of various carbon nanostructures (fullerenes, defects of the carbon planes) as potential material for production of anodes in lithium - ion batteries. Processes of sorption of atoms and lithium clusters in the volume and on the surfaces of these materials are considered as well.
