Theoretical and methodological aspects of environmental and economic safety and sustainable development (on the example of arctic territories)

The purpose of this article is to monitor and analyze the environmental situation of the energy shelf of the Arctic zone of Russia within the framework of the concept of sustainable development. The authors present the main characteristics of the Russian Arctic and its Northern regions. Based on the environmental rating for key indicators, an integral rating assessment of the level of environmental pollution in the regions of the Far North and the Arctic zone of the Russian Federation for the period 2021-2022 was carried out. and using modeling, their ecological profiles were built, which made it possible to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the state of the natural environment of the subjects of the Russian Federation.
