Theoretical and methodological foundations of education of compositions of the written text of future managers in the US universities

The article discusses the didactic foundations of the study in the universities of the United States discipline "Theory and methodology of written composition". This course is studied by almost all students of junior courses of universities, as in any professional activity an important competence in the field of composition of written text (including professional content). The article emphasizes that the academic discipline "theory and methodology of written composition" belongs to the interdisciplinary (scientific) sphere (to the sphere of linguistic, philological, psychological, pedagogical, cultural, ethical, logical, rhetorical, philosophical Sciences). Special attention is paid to the pedagogical approaches to the teaching of this course. The authors state that depending on the theoretical and methodological basis of the discipline "Theory and methodology of written composition" chosen by the teacher of the University (in particular, semantic rhetoric, behavioral rhetoric, subjective rhetoric, transactional rhetoric, etc.) the roles of students and the teacher in the process of mastering (studying) of this course can change. In the text of the article presents the retrospective changes in the understanding of the objectives and content of the course "Theory and technique of written composition", depending on changing scientific paradigms and methodological, approaches, directions (in particular, cognitive approach in the framework of transactional rhetoric; epistemic area within the framework of transactional rhetoric; critical area within a transactional-epistemic rhetoric; etc.). The authors emphasize that in the course of teaching the course "Theory and methodology of written composition" it is important to use varieties methods, techniques and techniques (in particular, case study, methods of problem education and education of students, various game techniques, etc.).
