Theoretical and methodological approaches to formation of regional social and economic policy of northern territories

Principles of regional policy formation of regions of the North of Russia are suggested. Necessity of estimation of policy effectiveness for the purpose of substantiation of the directions of its improvement is given. Results of realization of regional social and economic policy in northern regions of Russia are estimated.
