Theoretical and methodological approaches to the study of the youth online communities’ structure

The article deals with the theoretical and methodological approaches to the researches of social networks and youth virtual communities. The authors analyze the possibility of application of the graph theory to the virtual social networks study. The particular attention is paid to the history of the network analysis methodology development. The paper considers in detail the interpretation of social networks in the liberal arts and socio-economic sciences.
