The term «intelligentsia» in the Russian historiography of the XX - early XXI centuries

The paper covers the Russian historiography of intelligentsia from the collection «Vekhi» (1909) to the latest works of the early 2000s. The authors investigate correlation of different approaches to the limits of intelligentsia as a social group. The analysis of these approaches allows to specify the «intelligentsia»concept content and thus promotes further research on this social group.
