The territorial structure is related to the socio-economic situation of the regions and the degree of their interregional differentiation in Russia. The goal is to identify territorial differentiation in the socio-economic situation of the constituent entities of the Russian Far East at the macro level, to analyze the level of well-being of the population. Territorial differences in the socio-economic situation of the subjects of the Far Eastern Federal District have been identified using a methodology for calculating the integral characteristics of regional development based on the method of non-interval, factor-by-factor ranking of regions in relation to the scoring method and presentation of the calculation results in the form of standardized (rating) assessments. 5 groups of regions of the Far Eastern Federal District are identified according to the magnitude of the obtained integral assessments of the socio-economic situation. About half of the district's regions have a socio-economic status of "favorable" and "above average". “Unfavorable” socio-economic situation identified in the Jewish Autonomous Region.
