The terrorist communities and organizations of the former Soviet Union: dynamics and metamorphosis, typology and structure (based on electronic databases of terrorism)

Based upon the largest electronic databases of terrorism, the article considers the most common types of terrorism, major organizational forms, strategic goals of the main actors of terrorist activities and their tactical priorities in the former Soviet Union. Following the research results the authors describe the trends of the terrorism, its ideological metamorphosis, present classification of the main actors of terrorist activity.
