Testing as a modern form of pedagogical control in teaching Russian language to foreigners

At present testing is considered to be one of the most effective means of staged and final control of students’ progress in teaching foreign language. Russian as a foreign standard test is a system of standardized tasks aimed at measuring in comparable values (in scores and percentage) foreign learners’ knowledge and skills in all kinds of Speech Activities and language competence. The whole process of Russian as a Foreign Language learning is regarded as the gradual process of acquisition certified Language Proficiency levels.
