Testing of the system of hardware accounting of passenger traffic in real conditions of the city route

This article provides a rationale for the relevance of a systematic measurement of passenger traffic in urban public transport. The description of the tested system of hardware accounting of passenger traffic and test conditions is made. The indications of the values of passenger traffic are given on the example of the trolleybus route of the city of Volgograd. A conclusion is made about the reasons for the discrepancy between the results obtained by different methods of accounting, shows the degree of discrepancy in the readings.
