Tikhomirov copy of the short edition of the first quarter 16th century prolog: the editing problem

This article examines the copy of the first quarter 16 th century Prolog from the M. Tikhomirov's assembly in the State Public Scientific Technological Library of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences, № 520. The author raises the issue about editing of the Prolog's short version, which is done in two ways: stylistic correction of the paragraphs and renewal of the main composition with the special pieces, such as tales from Kiev-Pechersky Patericon. Author draws the conclusion about the version of Kiev-Pechersky Patericon, which is embodied by the Prolog's examined copy.
