Typological pecularities of the nervous system and functional asymmetries of youth - boxers

The article contains results of the investigation of typological peculiarities of the nervous system of youth-boxers with different motor and sensor preferences. Strength, steadiness and mobility of nervous processes, cognitive activity characteristics, motor and sensor preferences were studied in 107 persons, among them there are 50 top class boxers and 57 youths who werent trained at all. The results of the investigation proved that boxers in comparing with untrained youths have higher strength and mobility of nervous processes, momentary visual and picturesque memory. One-sided motor domination taken independently of the asymmetry sign plays an important role in the success of boxers sport activities.
