The problem of typology of culture is seen as a symbolic struggle for self-identity. Each researcher has positioned itself as a subject, to defend their scale of values: historian identifies certain cultural and historical periods on the basis of a set of common characteristics; linguist examines the general laws of the various languages; sociologist tries to draw a diagram of the collective “solidarity”; psychologist reveals the peculiarities of culture through the prism of social and cultural patterns of the individual concerned and his or her identity; political scientist identifies cultural types on the basis of prevailing in a society of political norms, values and institutional forms of power. Philosophical typology, in addition to cognitive tasks, resolve issues related to the search of valuable grounds of cultural national identity.
