Typologization of the political identity of modern Russian youth

The article analyzes the typologization of the political identity of Russian youth and demonstrates the results of empirical analysis of ideological preferences and civic activism. The author reveals inconsistencies of ideological classifications with the results of electoral preferences. It is established that the ideological classification is based on different criteria. The author proposes an approach to the classification of the political identity of Russian youth on the base of the scale of the ideological continuum and the matrix of activity-passivity, loyalty-disloyalty. The paper proposes indicators to classify political culture of young people to the matrix fields of activity-passivity, loyalty-disloyalty.
