Typical characteristics of vein quartz for search of gold objects (evidence from the western slope of the Southern Urals)

Three morphogenetic types of quartz in Riphean complexes of the Bashkirskij meganticlinorium are allocated: milky-white drain quartz from alpine veins, blueish-gray shaly and cataclasite quartz from dynamometamorphic zones, brecciated cavernous quartz with iron hydroxides from quartz vein systems which accompany gold deposits. Typomorphic signs of all kinds of quartz are revealed which allow to predict gold zones and ore fields to search deposits and ore bodies.
