Titanium minerals of modern coastal-marine placer in Stradbroke island (East Australia) and Pizhemskaya paleoplacer in Middle Timan (Russia)

Сomparative study of composition features, morphological characteristics and alteration degree of titanium minerals in the modern coastal-marine placer in Stradbroke Island (East Australia) and Pizhemskaya paleoplacer in Middle Timan (Russia) has been carried out by the complex of mineralogical and analytical methods. Physical properties of the basic minerals of the specified fields are presented.
