Toxic influence of heavy metals on the morphological indices of young sheep liver

The authors studied the biochemical blood indices and a microstructure of young sheep liver at the age of 2, 4, 6 and 12 months after intoxication by heavy metals. The amount of heavy metals in liver tissues was determined. It was shown that in zone of ecological tension in Saratovskaya oblast' the young sheep liver has dystrophic changes: deep lesions of parenchyma, nucleus necrosis, vacuolization of cytoplasm and excrescence of interlobular connective tissues that causes a chronic hepatitis becoming.
