In this study 70 alcohol-dependent patients at age of 41,5±9,8 (13 females, 57 males). In all patients is verified the second stage of alcoholic dependence. The average duration of the continuous method of alcohol before the hospitalization composed 20,3±4,1 day. The method of alcohol preceding hospitalization (less than 12 it is hour) was in 56 % patients. Average daily consumption was from 10 to 20 drinks. The states, estimated as psychotic disturbances connected with alcohol withdrawal syndrome (AWS), were noted in 30 patients. A study of biological fluid was conducted with the aid of the procedure of high-precision liquid chromatography with the quantitative determination of ethanol, acetaldehyde, methanol, acetone. In the patients, where the last method of alcohol was more than 12 hour back, to the risk of the development of alcoholic psychosis during the first day of treatment influenced the high frequency of pulse (OR=116,5), the duration of the daily method of 1 liters of alcohol is more than three weeks (OR=26,8), in the past the injury of head (OR=17,8), the increased mass of body (IMT of 26,6 kg/m2) (OR=2,4). Are isolated factors which we could influence the development of the psychotic disturbances (of alcohol of less than 12 it was hour back) during the day of hospitalization (D1). The degree of the influence of alcohol and its metabolites on the risk of the development of cardiotoxic disturbances is also determined.
