It is shown that finely dispersed gold occurs in sulphide ores of the Manitanyrd region, the Polar Urals. Such gold is observed in the form of micron and submicron segregations in arsenopyrite and pyrite. In composition, finely dispersed gold majorly differs from later coarse-grained gold superposing arsenopyrite-pyrite aggregates in cracks. It is characterized by the low content of elements-impurities and, consequently, the high gold fineness. The formation of finely dispersed gold is likely to happen simultaneously with that of arsenopyrite and pyrite.
