Trade and economic relations between Russia and Belarus: prospects of development

The relevance of the study lies in the increasing role of the Republic of Belarus as the main trading partner of Russia. This article analyzes the significant indicators of the foreign trade turnover of Russia and Belarus, identifies the most important export and import items, and suggests prospects for further trade and economic cooperation in order to increase competitiveness in world markets. Combining the potentials of the two countries is the key to the economic development of the states.
