Trade and economic relations between Russia and India at the present stage

The Foreign Policy Concept of the Russian Federation attaches great importance to the relations between the Russian Federation and the Republic of India, describing them as a "particularly privileged strategic partnership". Today, in the process of deepening partnership relations, states face a number of difficulties, including in the field of trade in goods. The steady desire of Russia and India to develop mutual trade and the presence of factors constraining this desire make this study relevant, as it is designed to concretize the existing problems in the sphere of trade in goods and propose measures to solve them, which will help strengthen interstate relations between the two countries in the face of growing tensions in trade, economic and other spheres of international relations.
