Trade and economic relations of Russia with strategic partners

In recent times, the nature of bilateral relations between Russia and Bulgaria has undergone certain changes. They provoked by the geopolitical situation around Russia. Because of the position taken by Bulgaria under the influence of the European Union, Russia forced to stop the construction of the South Stream. The article discusses the relationship between Russia and Bulgaria at present and identifies some promising areas for cooperation in the context of anti-Russian rhetoric by the US and the EU.
