Trade and economic relations of Mordovians in VIII – XI centuries

The article is devoted to investigation of economic and trade relations of Mordovians in the early Middle Ages. On the basis of archaeological materials the author found the main directions of these relationships – with Alan-Caucasian world, with the Arab East, Volga Bulgars and Old Russian state. The main trade routes are defined.
