Traditions of regulation of international relations in the culture of Ancient Rus

The article deals with the formation of interethnic policy within the framework of the political culture of Russia, reveals the specific features of interethnic relations, key stages in the development of political culture, which determined its uniqueness. We have analyzed the specific conditions for the emergence and development of political relations, intercultural interactions that influenced the formation of Russian statehood in the early period of its development. The article reveals the key determinants that influenced the development of the political culture and traditions of interethnic policy within Russia, such as openness, the commonality of the traditions of political culture of different peoples of the Russian state, spiritual and religious tradition of Orthodox Christianity. We have considered the role of a number of pre-philosophical sources of Russian thought, in particular, Hilarion's “Sermon on Law and Grace”, “The Message written by Clement to the Russian Metropolitan Thomas the Presbyter”, “The Tale of Bygone Years", "Teachings of Vladimir Monomakh” as the basis for friendly interstate ties and peaceful coexistence.
