The traditional culture of the natives of East Siberia in the Soviet period: the experience of its preservation and development

This article considers the traditional culture of the autochthons of Eastern Siberia: Buryats, Tuvinians, Khakasses, in one of the most contradictory periods of the Russian history - the Soviet period. The content of the Soviet socialist culture (as a nationwide) and the interaction of aboriginal traditional culture with the Russian one are revealed. A great number of new, earlier not available documents have been introduced in the study and the modem interpretation is given to them.
