Bioethical issues and moral categories in today's world are quite diverse, and the society is often uncertain how to respond to this or another bioeth-ical challenge. Many attempts have been made to formulate behavioral models and moral stereotypes to help people navigate through complex bio-ethical issues. However most of these attempts were distinctly leaning towards secular philosophy, as it is seemingly universal and broadly accepted. Meanwhile the opinion or traditional Christians is barely noticeable in this information field, and often ignored, at best. Therefore it is of special interest to study how secular approach to bioethics has become almost entirely unable to comprehend Christian viewpoint. This work looks into the issues of sexuality and childbirth in today's society. The study investigates the society's perception of premarital liaisons and analyses the causes behind such perception. It attempts to characterize the source of different views on extramarital affairs existing in civic culture versus the part of the society associated with traditional Christianity. The work summarizes the causes and the results of liberalized intimacy relationships. The demonstration is that secular bioethics as a discipline promotes distancing of public opinion on the issues of intimacy from the values of traditional Christianity. Finally, the study evaluates the risks of using bioethics as an ideology instrument to form a simplistic view of sexuality in the society.
