One of the most important indicators of modern society’s life is its dynamic. The dynamics of the socio-political changes not only reflect the situation as stable or transient, but also allows identifying characteristic features of political change, risks and challenges. The high dynamics of modern political development necessitates rethinking of some theoretical concepts and models of elite’s changing. The article identifies and analyzes the trajectory of civilization approach and its role in the dynamics of elite research.
