Transformations of youth religious consciousness: tendencies and contradictions

The paper highlights the most topical and sensitive issues concerning interaction of youth as a social group with the social institute of religion. The analysis is made on the basis of Russian and foreign researches. The authors fix common interests of Russian and foreign scientists working in this direction. On the one hand, in Russia and in the West there is more and more urgent problem of youth religious radicalism, first of all, Islamic one. On the other hand, the attention of Russian and foreign scientists turns on a question of youth moral values in conditions of the post-secular society and the youth relation to traditional religion.
