The article examines the transformation of Buddhist rituals and teachings in the Chinese online space. The relevance of the topic is due to the rapid digitalization of religious practices in modern China, where Buddhism is adapting to new digital realities. In the context of the growth of the Internet audience and the state policy of digitalization of religious life, there is a rethinking of traditional Buddhist rituals and methods of teaching transmission. Centuries-old Buddhist traditions are being transformed by the influence of modern digital technologies, and new forms of religious practice are emerging in the Chinese online space. Special attention is paid to the analysis of the interaction between traditional Buddhist institutions and new digital platforms, as well as to the changing role of spiritual mentors in the context of remote transmission of teachings. The main range of problems includes maintaining the authenticity of doctrines during their transformation into digital format, overcoming technical barriers, preventing the commercialization of spiritual practice and ensuring the continuity of the transmission of traditional values in the changing conditions of the modern world.
