Transformation of contractual law under the conditions of information technologies: new trends

Бесплатный доступ

The last decade, civilization has to deal with a fundamentally new way of human existence, the existence acquiring a new essence - space-time digital transcendence. This new feature is implicitly significant for the sphere of law. By virtue of its conservative nature, the law is late for new technological trends of the 21st century, but it is also trying to restructure itself, acquiring new forms and updated content. One of the examples of such changes is contract (contractual) law, which is a legal expression of the economy actors’ freedom (including agriculture, industrial production). The time of traditional mail messages is a thing of the past, and now we are witnessing how contracting parties use all the technological power to gain competitive advantages at the expense of digital technologies. As a result, the parties in contractual relations seek to execute trade transactions, enter into supply agreements, etc., faster, better and more qualitatively.
