Transformation of the financial space in the digital economy

This article examines the problem of changing the financial space under the influence of the introduction of digital technologies. The author identifies several groups of technological factors that cause these changes: technologies that reduce the cost of access to the financial space, the development of a virtual economy, technologies that increase the efficiency of financial institutions, technologies based on blockchain. The author considers the main directions of transformation of the financial space, which occurs under the influence of these factors: the involvement of increasingly large groups of the population in it, the depersonalization of its participants, the replacement of man with technology, the development of financial ecosystems and its virtualization. It is proposed to use two approaches to the definition of a virtual financial space, narrow and wide. It is separately noted that the level of information transparency of the financial space and the distribution of information between its participants is changing.
