The transformation of fundamental philosophical categories in the postmodern paradigm

The article deals with the relevant problem of subject correlation between postmodern semantic context and its predecessor - the epoch of modern. The work focuses on the fundamental philosophical category of being, that suffered radical transformation due to the formulation of the basic principles of postmodern ideology in philosophical, social, and scientific researches. The outcome of this process is formation of the new, non-classical ontology (the theory of being) describing the reality on the basis of the principles of fragmentation, non-linearity and chaos, common for both postmodern space and post-non-classical scientific paradigm.
