The transformation of the artistic tradition of poster art in Japan

Historical prerequisites of Japanese poster arts developing and specifical perseption of the world incarnated in images of graphic artists of XX - XXI are briefly examined in article. The refinement of traditional Japanese arts, the harmony of nature, the spirituality of all matters inspired artists and gave posters arts a special conciseness and clarity in audience`s understanding.
