In world science, there are no studies assessing the transformation of the economic space under the influence of not yet existing telecommunication technologies. The article presents the results of the first such attempt on the example of the Siberian economic space. We consider the transformation of space in the case of the implementation of breakthrough technologies such as "Tactile Internet", the operation of which is possible with a minimum latency in the telecommunications network. The current (2017) linear-node economic space of Siberia, represented by 396 urban settlements and telecommunication lines connecting them, was taken as the initial state. It is established that the future state will be determined by territorial clusters of urban settlements, within which the latency will not exceed one millisecond. It is shown that during the transition to future technologies, the single economic space of Siberia is differentiated into 15 autonomous spaces (clusters) and a single periphery, in which there will be 277 urban settlements without access to new technologies in real time.
